CESA 2018

The organisation committee is more than happy. It received more than 40 papers for the 2014 edition : almost twice as expected. The abstracts have been sent by OEMS (Daimler, PSA), OEM suppliers (Delphi, Faurecia, Valeo, SKF) and automotive electronics key players (Elektrobit, ESG, Etas, Freescale, Infineon, NXP, Vector). They cover all the fields required. Technical progress towards automation of driving – ADAS : 13 abstracts New usage of cars with more automation : 4 abstracts CO2 reduction, hybridization, regulation : 12 abstracts The connected car and acceptance of users : 8 abstracts Human factors in modern cars (psychology, physiology, HMI, …) : 3 abstracts Standards, tests and validation : 19 abstracts Electronic components and materials : 9 abstracts Now, the committee has to make a selection of these valuable papers. A hard task.

Jochen Langheim, chairman of CESA 3.0, reminds that the deadline for submission is May 15 th. Be careful, there are only two weeks left. CESA 2012 reminds that the submission for abstracts is opened until May 29th. At this point, the congress has already confirmation of more than 60 participants for key-notes and round table discussions including representatives from the automotive industry and adjacent industries such as electronics in general, railway, communication, city representatives and market research organizations from Europe, France, Germany, Japan and the Netherlands. This year, the top level roundtable discussion format will be enhanced by more in depth sessions, detailed presentations and discussions of technical papers. CESA will be held on December 4th and 5th in Paris with the support of the PFA and Automotive Clusters. It's the most important automotive electronics conference in France.
