CESA congress just started

This is the D-day for CESA 3.0 congress. Located at the Beffroi de Montrouge, in the south of Paris, this event on automotive electronics, organized by the SIA, welcomes top experts during two days.

Main topics to be dicussed are the connected car and autonomous driving. But technical sessions and round tables will mention as well CO2 reduction, technical progress in ADAS, HMI integration, as simulation, testing and validation.

This morning, the congress started with keynote speeches, including Mr Takao Asami, the Renault-Nissan Alliance global VP for research and advanced engineering (our picture). Bernard Million-Rousseau from the PFA (Plateforme de la Filière Automobile) and Ralf Lenninger from Continental Automotive spoke as well.

During the coffee breaks, it's possible to visit the exhibition space. At least one autonomous car is visible.

Another "must see" is the Easy Car Apps system from PSA. A mock up is displayed for demos of this new initiative to bring apps from developers linked with the sensors of the car.

Detef Weigel, from the German Embassy in France did the last speech of the day.
